A new ceremony for a new cinema.
OPUS is a United Kingdom awards ceremony dedicated entirely to AI-driven filmmaking, built to honour the directors, writers and technologists shaping the next century of moving image.
We celebrate work that is generous in its ambition and precise in its craft: short and long form, narrative and experimental, music video and commercial. Seven categories are open for submission, plus the OPUS People’s Choice Award, voted online before the event, and the Grand Prix, both revealed at the ceremony.
The inaugural evening will be held in London Film School on 14 November 2026.

OPUS Film Awards will take place at London Film School, the UK’s oldest film school, founded in 1956 and home to generations of storytellers from over 80 countries.
Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, this storied space has shaped decades of craft, creative freedom, and cinematic ambition — the perfect home for a new chapter in filmmaking to begin.

Seven categories are open for submission, plus the OPUS People’s Choice Award, decided by online public vote before the event, and the Grand Prix. Both winners are revealed at the ceremony. One international jury. The ceremony is open to the public via ticket purchase.
A few questions, answered.
Any emerging or established filmmaker whose work meaningfully employs AI tooling in its creation. Entries are accepted internationally during each published submission window.
Any work where generative or machine-learning tools play a substantive role in the image, sound, performance, edit or world-building.

An international jury of directors, producers, cinematographers and technologists reviews every shortlisted work.
A submission fee applies to all entries.
